The Business of Healthcare: Adapting to an Aging Economy will launch a new investigative series for the Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise, through UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, examining the most critical issues facing the United States today.
The conference will cover a number of themes, including:
- Reduce costs and improve operational efficiencies of all institutions that provide long-term care and supports for older adults;
- Design, label, and package products and services that are age-friendly; and
- Redesign existing communities and design new ones that substantially reduce the likelihood of costly and possibly life-threatening falls
The conference convenes public health experts, academic researchers, policymakers and business leaders for an engaging discussion on how addressing the needs of our aging population can drive growth in the American economy today and for years to come.
