Applications are open for the City Startup Labs Center of Excellence program, where African American millennials learn how to research, plan, launch and operate their own ventures. While they learn about what it takes to start a successful venture, they also learn a lot about themselves along the way.
City Startup Labs student/entrepreneurs sequence through four progressive modules; where they address their own conditioning, entrepreneurial mindset, critical-thinking, team-building, business fundamentals, the planning and crafting an actionable business model.
The modules are:
- Cultivation: Who they are & why?
- Preparation: What will it take?
- Education: How will they get it done?
- Demonstration: Getting it done!
