NC IDEA’s intensive four-week customer discovery program, NC IDEA LABS, returns on May 26, after a brief hiatus. Senior Director John Austin, who founded the program in 2012, will once again be leading the program.
NC IDEA LABS is focused on helping entrepreneurs take their first steps toward building a successful company. The program guides founders through the process of identifying and targeting customers, then validating product/market fit. Participants spend much of the time communicating directly with potential customers, gathering feedback and assessing demand.
The ideal candidates for the program are founders who are at the “idea” stage. Some companies that are further along and are assessing how to scale have found the program beneficial as well.
Interested applicants may attend any of the following information sessions to learn more about the program and how to write a competitive application.
- Info Session via Webinar – Thursday, March 26 at 2:00pm
- In-Person Q&A Session – Tuesday, March 31 at 12:00pm
The upcoming application opportunity for the first 2020 cohort of NC IDEA LABS, running May 26 through June 19, will open on March 11 with applications due April 15 at 5 p.m. EST. Finalists will be interviewed during the last two weeks of April and selected participants will be notified by May 1.
