Join us at a community event that puts Charlotte on the health map!

Goals:

  • Build a community in Charlotte that seeks to facilitate learning, leadership and entrepreneurship to impact positive change across the health ecosystem.
  • Enable cross-sector collaboration and fuel innovation in health by bringing together diverse and divergent stakeholders across the healthcare value chain (e.g. providers, educators, tech companies, investors, entrepreneurs, students, etc.).
  • Through a curated experience, connect Healthtech Women members, volunteers and participants with other leaders, innovators and key contributors in health and technology.
  • Promote and encourage diversity in health; build, showcase and engage diverse talent.

Program:

  • Speaker panel sessions focused on technologies disrupting the patient experience, the value of leading in tech without technical skills and strategic imperatives shaping the future of large healthcare providers.
  • Interactive workshops focused on topics such as innovation and cultivating tech skills with a growth mindset.
  • A pitch competition for early- to mid-stage health tech startups and entrepreneurs.
  • A networking event & cocktail reception for sponsors, partners, speakers and HTW members.

Queens University faculty and students attend for free. Please contact Susan Rucker at ruckers@queens.edu to register.Earn 1.5 hours of ACHE Qualified Education credit toward advancement or recertification in the ACHE.
