NC TECH members gather at the NC General Assembly building to engage our legislators and demonstrate the vibrancy of the tech sector. The day begins with a free Legislative Breakfast with NC Senate and House members.
In conjunction with Tech Day at the Legislature, the Chairmen of the House IT Committee and the Senate IT Committee are calling a joint meeting of their committees on Tuesday, June 5 at 10:30 AM in Room 544 of the Legislative Office Building. NC TECH CEO Brooks Raiford will brief legislators on the 2018 State of Technology Industry Report (www.ncstir.com), and we have also secured the participation of the State CIO, Eric Boyette, to offer an update on procurement and deployment of technology in state government. Additionally, NC TECH has assisted in establishing a Tech Caucus within the Legislature – an update on this effort will also be provided during the joint hearing. No registration is required, we encourage all NC TECH members to attend this public session.
