Goal

To define priority focus areas for low power wearable sensor research, development, and deployment.

Overview

This November 29th, the NSF ASSIST Center and DHIT’s digital health team will host an immersive full-day workshop for select participants from the US Department of Defense, ASSIST Engineering Research Center, and NC Research Triangle. Our goal is to identify and advance specific digital health opportunities to optimize the performance and well-being of our troops. The event will bring together executive-level subject matter experts from the academic, industrial, and entrepreneurial communities in the Research Triangle to focus on readiness, environmental monitoring, and physiological monitoring. The workshop will be organized into multidisciplinary teams to drive a series of outcome-oriented exercises and facilitate the design process.
