Over the last few years, healthcare organizations across the United States and Canada have realized the value of digital health technologies and solutions. Over the last few months, due to the global pandemic, that value has further skyrocketed and adoption has rapidly increased. However, a great inefficiency exists – healthcare organizations often lack the resources to explore solutions outside their network, let alone outside their country of origin. There are tremendous technologies and solutions generated across the United States and Canada (in particular, the province of Quebec) every day, and we need a medium to showcase them to a wide audience.
To foster relationships that encourage international trade between Quebec and the United States, Digital Health Institute for Transformation (DHIT) is launching a program in collaboration with the Government of Quebec.
The Webinar Series will host executives and thought leaders from across healthcare, life sciences, social sciences, technology, and innovation to discuss the advances, opportunities, challenges, and barriers to digital health across the United States and Canada. The series will reach far and wide across the two nations, and in fact the world; Quebec will leverage its 40 regional offices to promote the event. Bi-weekly episodes will discuss best practices that have been developed and the tremendous opportunities and use cases that exist for digital health. In particular, the series will convene stakeholders from across the ecosystem – health systems, government agencies, healthcare providers, entrepreneurs, etc. – to create cross-fertilization and cross-collaboration opportunities.
